Homemade breads and pastries made by artisan baker Ruth Redgate. Freshly baked, healthy recipes and locally sourced ingredients where possible.
Our delicious homemade breads and pastries are all created by master baker Ruth. We have over 30 flavours and styles, from traditional white and wholegrains to more exotic treats. We also bake a range of mouth-watering pastries including croissants, pain au chocolate, hot cross buns and panettone.
All of our breads are freshly made – we are early risers – to ensure each bake retains its moist and airy consistency. Each of our traditional recipes have been trialled and tweaked – our Full English Breakfast Roll took months of adjustment before we were satisfied we had achieved the perfect blend of ingredients and texture.
Hunnypot Cottage is a proud member of The Real Bread Campaign – which means our bread is made without the use of processing aids or any other artificial additives.

How to buy:
Hunnypot Cottage breads can be purchased from the Heart of the Country from Friday to Sundays. We also attend a number of fairs throughout the year, and supply several local farm shops and restaurants. A full list can be found here. Orders can be made online and collected directly from the cottage or from our stall at events – we even post certain breads to you directly.
Please note postage days are normally Thursdays, so that your delicious bread is ready for your weekend breakfast. Continental breads are best eaten on the day of baking, and therefore we do not recommend these for posting.
Every bread is baked in our home kitchen at Hunnypot Cottage. We have a Level 5 Food Hygiene Rating and Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
